Founded by Rod Kennedy, the Kerrville Folk Festival has run annually since 1972. It is the longest continuously running music festival of its kind in North America. For 18 straight days and nights each May and June, over 30,000 guests come from all over the world to experience the magic of what we simply call "Kerrville". Philip Morin Freneau (January 2, 1752 - December 18, 1832) was a notable American poet, nationalist, polemicist, sea captain, and newspaper editor, sometimes called the "Poet of the American Revolution". This half-hour historical drama was adapted into play form by Joe Bevilacqua, in association with W. John Bauer, English Professor, Kean University. It was first toured on stage with grants from the Monmouth County Historical Society and the New Jersey Historical Commission.

Written in 1900, The Bear is one of the great works of Anton Chekhov, about the strange beginnings of love between the recently widowed Mrs. Popov and Grigory Stepanovich Smirnov. In Russian the word for "bear" which has two meanings: an animal or a rather rude, clumsy, awkward man. The play is alternately titled The Boor. The fine cast includes Cathi Tully, Bob Miller, and William Duff-Griffin.

"There are hundreds of hours of great audio not being heard on radio today," says Bevilacqua. "Radio theater, comedy, long form documentary are no longer heard in any great amount, even on public radio. But with the proliferation of high speed Internet, Wi-FI, and handheld devices, these neglected genres are finding new audiences." Bevilacqua's first outing into distribution is Radio Tales for the Road, an ongoing series of transformational journeys through time, space and memory, written, produced, and narrated by public radio stalwart Barbara Bernstein. Combining story-telling, documentary audio, radio drama, and original music, Radio Tales are vivid recollections of the Summer of Love, the Days of Rage, discovering the wilderness, and the dysfunctional families that propelled so many of us to create our own realities. These wild and edgy tales dispel the notion that if you remember the sixties you weren't really there. In "Getting Lost", Bernstein contrasts personal experiences of being lost in the wilderness, as a young hippie gets lost in Big Sur on her first trip out west and then 30 years later as a seasoned hiker, when she gets lost in a canyon in Southern Utah and meets the many faces of Coyote the Trickster. In "Hidden Waters", Bernstein explores life and death on underground rivers and underwater waterfalls, the ghosts of once abundant salmon fisheries that were formally waterfalls and rapids, now inundated behind the dams on the Columbia River, and then a culverted river in the producer's hometown on the day of her father's funeral. Radio Tales for the Road was broadcast on Oregon Public Broadcasting, KBOO-FM, and other stations in 2000 and 2003.
